Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, a candidate must:

  • Assessed as having Overseas fee status.
  • Self-funded student (not sponsored by a government or third party).
  • Enrolled in an eligible full-time LLM course on-campus.
  • Entering that level of study for the first time (not repeating).
  • Note: This scholarship cannot be combined with the Dean's Scholarship or the general International Student Scholarship. The highest value award will always take precedence.

Level & Field of Study

  • Level: Postgraduate Taught (Master of Laws).
  • Field of Study: Law.
  • Eligible Courses: LLM International Trade Law, LLM International Human Rights, LLM International Business Law (On-campus).
  • Exclusions: Distance learning students, PGDip/PGCert, and the LLM Legal Practice (SQE) course.

  • Apply for an LLM: Submit an application for an eligible full-time LLM course through the Leeds Beckett Applicant Portal or via an authorised NWC Education representative.
  • Receive Your Offer: Meet the academic and English requirements to receive your offer letter.
  • Automatic Assessment: The admissions team will automatically assess your eligibility for the £6,000 discount based on your residency and course choice.
  • Confirm Your Place: Pay your initial deposit. Your invoice will automatically be updated to reflect the scholarship discount.
