Education Counsellor – UK

NWC Education is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Education Counsellor to guide students through their journey to study in the United Kingdom. You will be the primary point of contact for students from initial inquiry through to pre-departure, providing expert advice on UK university selection, programme matching, application preparation, and student visa documentation. Location is open — remote or on-site from anywhere.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in education counselling or student recruitment
• Strong knowledge of UK universities and admission requirements
• Familiarity with UCAS portal and UK Student Visa (Student Route) process
• Knowledge of CAS letter and financial evidence requirements
• Experience providing IELTS guidance is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Self-motivated, target-driven and empathetic

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to assess student profiles and career goals
• Recommend suitable UK universities and degree programmes
• Guide students through UCAS and direct university application processes
• Assist with SOP, personal statement, and reference letter preparation
• Advise on UK Student Visa documentation and CAS letter requirements
• Track application outcomes and manage offer conversions
• Conduct pre-departure briefings on life in the UK
• Attend university fairs, webinars, and open days on behalf of NWC
• Maintain accurate student records in CRM systems
• Achieve monthly enrolment targets
