Overview / About the Scholarship

The Rhodes Scholarship is one of the oldest, most prestigious, and intensely competitive international postgraduate awards in the world. Established in 1902, it enables outstanding young people from across the globe to undertake full-time postgraduate study at the University of Oxford.

For Pakistani students, the Rhodes Scholarship represents the pinnacle of academic and leadership achievement, providing a completely life-changing opportunity to join a lifelong global network of public-spirited leaders.

Exclusions: A tiny subset of professional programs, such as the MBA or Master of Finance (MFin), require separate consideration or have strict restrictions under Rhodes funding timelines.

Host University / Provider Info

The University of Oxford (in conjunction with the Rhodes Trust) is the sole host institution for this scholarship. Ranked consistently among the top universities globally, it offers an unparalleled collegiate study system. While this specific award belongs exclusively to Oxford, the broader UK sector remains heavily active for regional development. While over 160 UK higher education institutions accept international admissions, please note that some lower-tier universities have seen restricted or paused processing for Pakistani student routes due to fluctuating visa compliance thresholds. Aiming for top-tier, compliant research hubs ensures the smooth processing of international applications.

Required Documents

All materials must be submitted digitally through the online portal in English:

Identification: A copy of a valid NADRA-issued CNIC or passport.

Certified Result Sheets: Formal transcripts and certificates of Matriculation/O-Levels, HSSC/A-Levels, and your Bachelor's degree.
